David Coote will referee Albion’s FA Cup tie at home to Derby County.
The Nottinghamshire-based official last took charge of the Seagulls when they lost 3-1 at Everton in November.
He has reffed 21 games across the competitions this season, most recently Swindon v Forest Green in League Two.
So far he has shown yellow 77 times and sent off five players.
Coote worked as fourth official in the Albion v Burnley game last Saturday.
Graham Scott of Oxfordshire will act as VAR. He last refereed the Seagulls when they lost 5-1 at home to Liverpool last season.
Stuart Attwell, the referee who made unwanted headlines at the Amex last Saturday, has been assigned the middle in the Swansea v Brentford tie.
