Albion faced a big decision over Glenn Murray as they planned for their FA Cup tie against Derby County.

Boss Chris Hughton had to weigh up whether to start his top-scorer in the absence of the banned Florin Andone.

The Seagulls do not have another game for ten days but Hughton would be loathe to lose Murray to injury or suspension.

Hughton will make changes with Bruno, Dan Burn, Beram Kayal, Yves Bissouma and Alireza Jahanbakhsh among those expected to enjoy precious playing time.

David Button is likely to play his third FA Cup tie of the season – the first time he has reached that landmark for any of his many clubs.

Derby do not have the personnel to make many changes at the back.

Kelle Roos is likely to continue in goal with Scott Carson still recovering from a thigh injury while former England left-back Ashley Cole should be on the bench.

Selection further forward appear to hinge on how Tom Lawrence, who scored in the 1-1 draw at Ipswich on Wednesday, recovers from an ankle knock.

If he is not risked, boss Frank Lampard could opt to switch Martyn Waghorn to the right and play David Nugent through the middle.

On-loan midfielder Andy King is cup-tied and newly-arrived defender Efe Ambrose did not sign in time to play today.
