Anthony Knockaert has told of his delight at getting Albion off on the right foot against Derby.
The winger opened the scoring in the 2-1 fifth-round success over Derby.
He connected sweetly with his less favoured right to beat Rams keeper Kelle Roos.
Knockaert, who set Albion’s cup campaign rolling with his opener at Bournemouth in the third round, said: ”It’s a great day for us and for me personally.
“It’s always good to score and it came at the right moment.
“It’s not every day that I score with my right foot but I took it perfectly and it went in.
“I was really delighted to score.”
Knockaert has been lively in the cup but is still trying to get back into the starting XI for league fixtures.
He added: “It’s always frustrating. You want to help your team but I need to keep working hard and show the manager that I am still here and I going to keep fighting until the end.”
