DALE STEPHENS says Albion’s warm weather training camp can help them work their way to safety.
The Seagulls are away as they prepare for a Premier League run-in which gets under way at Leicester on Tuesday.
Stephens says it will feel a bit like pre-season and a fresh start after recent disappointments.
He said: “It’s a good chance for everyone to get away and be together in the break we’ve got between games.
“I’m sure it will be sort of a mini pre-season.”
The trip has not gone down well with some fans given Albion’s recent poor league run.
But Stephens said: “We’ve always done it and we have had nothing but success.
“It’s a good time to get away.
“It’s a bit of a down week although it’s hard work.
“You’re not really focusing on a game on Saturday so it gives you a chance to get some good work in together.”
