Chris Eubank Jr will have learned from his defeat to George Groves.

That is the claim from cousin Harlem Eubank as he assesses tonight's super-middleweight showdown at the O2 Arena.

Exciting brighton prospect Harlem, who is trained by Adam Booth, told The Argus: "I think Chris is too fresh for Degale.

"DeGale has peaked and is now past his best. I feel Chris will wear him down in the later rounds.

"Chris will probably have too much volume for him.

"There's a high chance Chris will stop him with volume late on."

That was a claim made by many ahead of the unanimous points loss to Groves but Harlem reckons lessons learned there will now come into play.

He added: "Groves is probably one of the hardest punchers in that weight class.

"I think Chris just didn't have an answer to get in behind Groves' jab because that jab would have been feeling like a right hand.

"I don't think Chris was used to it at that time but now he has tasted that, I think he will have a way to get in and trouble James."

Harlem expects the bitter rivalry to ensure the clash lives up to the hype.

"It will be a great fight, especially with their characters," said Harlem.

"DeGale is one of those characters who can get lazy but I feel like against Chris, because there is so much animosity, he is going to be in the best condition possible.

"His ego is not going to allow him to get lazy and it will be an intense fight.

"It will be high pace action."
