GLENN MURRAY has warned in-form Crystal Palace are in a false Premier League position.

But he wants the old rivals to be neck and neck on 33 points as they go into the last nine games of the season.

Murray hopes to score against his old club for a FOURTH successive derby.

Palace are three points clear of the Seagulls after impressive recent away wins over Leicester and Burnley.

They are 13th in the table but fifth in the current form chart for the last six matches.

Murray warned: “We can go neck-and-neck with them if we win, so it should be a good game.

“I personally think they probably are in a false position because they have a very talented squad.

“They may have taken a little bit of time to get going but they’re in their stride more now.”
