LEWIS DUNK is set to learn whether he can add to his first England cap.

Gareth Southgate names his squad today for Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.

Dunk has been in the last two squads, including a debut in the friendly win over the USA.

He made way as left-sided centre-back to Joe Gomez for the subsequent Nations League group decider against Croatia.

But the Liverpool man is now out injured, as is Phil Jones, while there is understood to be a fitness doubt over John Stones.

Dunk stood out in his club’s win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Southgate saw both the Albion skipper and Harry Maguire play first hand during the Seagulls’ recent 2-1 defeat at Leicester.

The squad announcement is expected in early afternoon.

England face the Czechs in front of a sell-out Wembley crowd on Friday, March 22 and are in Montenegro three nights later.

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is being tipped for a first call.
