Jayson Molumby has received another reward for his 15 months of hard work – from the Republic of Ireland.
The young Albion midfielder was today named in his nation’s under-21 squad to face Luxemburg in a European Championships qualifier at Tallaght Stadium in Dublin a week on Sunday.
Molumby recently made his comeback for Albion under-23s after a serious knee injury which ruled him out for 15 months.
The 19-year-old comes from Cappoquin in County Waterford and has previously been capped through the age groups up to under-19.
He is joined in the squad by former Albion under-23s midfielder Dan Mandroiu, who now plays for Dublin outfit Bohemians in the SSE Airtricity League.
