Boss Chris Hughton has called for calm heads in Albion's FA Cup Wembley bid.

Millwall stand between the Seagulls and their first semi-final for 36 years at the Den on Sunday (2pm).

Albion faced a similar scenario away to arch rivals Crystal Palace last week and emerged 2-1 winners at Selhurst Park.

Hughton, asked if calm heads will be needed against Championship strugglers Millwall, said: "Yes, definitely, and that would have been the same at Crystal Palace.

"Not because it's Millwall but because it's an FA Cup tie away from home where you expect the home crowd to be very, very vocal.

"And in that type of environment, that type of game, the tempo particularly sometimes at the start can be very high. You need composure and players that are going to make good decisions, that are not going to make rash challenges."

The Argus: Hughton is poised to field his strongest side available, with Beram Kayal (above) replacing the banned Yves Bissouma in midfield and Florin Andone and Pascal Gross ruled out by injuries.

He said: "We are going into an international break afterwards so that might have a little bit more of a say in a team that I pick."
