Albion will NOT be facing arch rivals Crystal Palace in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
That possibility was removed when Palace, minus the injured Wilfried Zaha, were beaten 2-1 by Watford in the opening quarter-final at Vicarage Road this afternoon.
Midfielder Etienne Capoue stabbed Watford into a 27th minute lead when Palace failed to deal with a corner (above centre).
The visitors, a week after losing 2-1 at home to Albion, were level in the 62nd minute when Adrian Mariappa was slow in clearing and Michy Batshuayi (below) took the ball off him before breaking into the area and firing his fifth goal in four appearances against the Hornets.
Sub Andre Gray won it for Watford in the 79th minute, three minutes after coming on. He latched on to Roberto Pereyra's chipped ball into the area and volleyed in left-footed to clinch a trip to Wembley for Watford and a place in tomorrow's semi-final draw, which follows Albion's tie at Millwall (2pm).
