Beram Kayal will try to help Israel off to a flying start tonight after maintaining his ever-present FA Cup record for Albion.
Israel open their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign against out-of-sorts Slovenia at the Haifa International Stadium (7.45pm).
They host Austria as well on Sunday in a group also containing Poland, Macedonia and Latvia.
Kayal (No.21) scored his last goal in Israel's 3-2 defeat in Scotland in November (below), which cost them top spot in their Nations League group.
He has not started for Albion in the Premier League since conceding a late penalty in the draw at home to ten-man Leicester in November but has featured throughout the run to the FA Cup semi-finals.
Kayal went close to scoring three times in Sunday's quarter-final fightback at Millwall.
Kaya's fellow midfielder Davy Propper has targeted Euro 2020 success to maintain the feelgood factor returning to the Netherlands under Ronald Koeman.
Propper helped his country qualify for a Nations League semi-final against England in June.
He is in Koeman's squad for the start of their Euro qualifying campaign at home to Belarus tonight and on Sunday against Germany, who were among their Nations League victims.
The Netherlands failed to qualify for the previous two tournaments but optimism has been restored by Koeman.
Propper (above) told De Telegraf: "I have never experienced anything like this, even though I am 27. We must make sure we are there. The Nations League was also very important, but now the focus is on qualification. Hunger is great.
"I am happy that the whole country is behind us again. But we must ensure that this remains the case."
