SOLLY MARCH has given Albion boss Chris Hughton a decision to make after his game-changing FA Cup cameo.

But it is too soon for Jose Izquierdo to be considered a starting option for tomorrow's key clash at home to Southampton.

Hughton is weighing up which wingers to choose against Saints, who are a place and three points below the Seagulls in the fight for Premier League safety.

March made a match winning contribution from the bench in the last match before the international break at Millwall in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

He set up Jurgen Locadia's goal, equalised at the death from a free-kick which keeper David Martin fumbled and scored one of the penalties in the shootout to set up a semi-final clash against Manchester City at Wembley.

Hughton told The Argus: "He always gives me a decision to make, as do most of the players on a lot of occasions.

"We also have eight games in four weeks. I would imagine around that there are going to be a lot of players playing in those games, really good competition at the moment."

Colombian Izquierdo has made three substitute appearances since a second lengthy spell on the sidelines with knee damage.

Hughton said: "At this moment we generally haven't felt we are at the level to start him, but we've had a good couple of weeks with him.

"He didn't go on international duty. He is getting a lot closer now."

Albion will be without Pascal Gross against Saints for the fifth match in succession.

The German, who played under visiting boss Ralph Hasenhuttl at Ingolstadt, has yet to resume training after suffering a hamstring injury at Leicester last month.

Florin Andone resumed training yesterday following a recurrence of thigh trouble which forced him out in the warm-up at Crystal Palace earlier this month.

A late decision will be made on whether to include the Romanian striker on the bench.

All the internationals are available, including Davy Propper. The midfielder was not risked by the Netherlands against Germany after sustaining a minor injury in the victory over Belarus.
