Alex Revell, now at Stevenage, hit a hat-trick in the Seagulls' last league victory against the Cherries at Withdean on New Year's Day 2008.
Chris Hughton's team are aiming to follow up the 3-1 win at Bournemouth in the third round of the FA Cup in January.
