Steve Sidwell said the Albion camp remained united behind Chris Hughton – in the minutes before they secured their Molineux point.
The former Seagulls midfielder, who is now on the academy coaching staff, appeared on BT Sport’s matchday programme.
He was asked about fans’ criticism of Hughton after the back-to-back home defeats by Bournemouth and Cardiff.
Sidwell said: “There is the minority that has been jumping on his back but he has got the backing of everyone. That everyone is from the fans, all the players.
“There have been rumours going around that he has lost the dressing room.
“He hasn’t lost the dressing room at all. They are fully 100% behind him, the board are 100% behind him.
“I’m not just saying it because I’m an employee there but I DO believe they will get out of it.
“They are bang in trouble. They ARE in trouble”
He added: “What you have got to do, and I’m sure this has happened before with Bruno the captain, the door gets closed, words get said and it stays there in the dressing room and they go out and just get it done.
“I started up a WhatsApp group the other day – Dale Stephens, Bruno, Glenn Murray, the core of them – and I said, ‘listen, you need to get the others over the line, kicking and screaming, it doesn’t matter how you do it, you’ve just got to get them over the line and we will deal with it in the off-season.”
