Albion deputy chairman Paul Barber has been re-elected to the FA Council and Professional Game Board.

It will be his second successive year as a Premier League representative on both organisations.

He was previously elected to the FA Council and PGB by EFL Championship clubs for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

Albion chairman Tony Bloom said: “We are extremely proud that Paul has once again been elected to these prestigious positions in English football.

“It reaffirms his professional standing amongst the other clubs in the Premier League and clearly demonstrates their faith in his ability and understanding of the game.”
