Albion defender Leon Balogun has helped Nigeria qualify for the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Balogun played the whole game in this afternoon's 1-0 win against Guinea in Alexandria.
His partner at the heart of Gernot Rohr's back line, Kenneth Omeruo, headed the decisive goal from a Moses Simon corner 17 minutes from time.
Nigeria also won 1-0 in their opening group game against Burundi, when Balogun was an unused substitute.
They have already qualified for the knockout stages ahead of their final game in the group against Madagascar on Sunday.
The last 16 matches start on July 5, two days before Albion leave for their pre-season training camp in Austria.
