Percy Tau was named man of the match as South Africa kept alive their hopes at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Albion attacker featured prominently in a 1-0 win against Namibia in Egypt last night which leaves his country needing to avoid defeat in their final group fixture against Morocco on Monday to reach the last 16.
Tau said: "It was a tough game but we are work in process and we are taking game by game and hopefully we will get the result we would like to have in the last match against Morocco.
"I think overall it was a better game than the one against Ivory Coast (lost 1-0). The positives are that this time we converted one of our chances. In fact, we created lots of chances but unfortunately we could not take most of them."
Albion defender Gaten Bong's Cameroon play their second group game against Ghana this evening with a win under their belts.
