Albion defender Ben White has completed his season-long loan switch to Leeds United - along with an extended deal.
An extra year on his contract with the Seagulls carries him through to June 2022.
The deal, together with the interest from a club of the size and pedigree of Leeds, emphasises how highly Albion and others regard 21-year-old White.
Simon Rusk, Albion's under-23s coach, said: "This is an exciting move for Ben and one that makes sense in his natural development.
"Ben will have to adapt once again, as he joins a new group of players and experiences an increased standard of quality and athleticism in the Championship.
"I'm delighted for Ben to experience playing at that level in front of bigger crowds, and we'll be keeping a close eye on his progress at Elland Road."
White impressed in 16 appearances on loan to League One Peterborough in the second half of last season.
In the previous campaign he played 42 games on loan to Newport County in League Two and two for Albion in the EFL Cup, which earned him a new contract until June 2021.
