ALBION team-mates Gaetan Bong and Leon Balogun will collide at the Africa Cup of Nations.
It means the Seagulls will have at least one player involved in the quarter-finals of the tournament in Egypt.
Bong's Cameroon and Balogun's Nigeria have been drawn against each other in the last 16, the start of the knockout stages.
Cameroon, the defending champions, finished unbeaten and runners-up to Ghana in their group under Clarence Seedorf.
Nigeria were also runners-up following a shock 2-0 defeat by table-toppers Madagascar, in which Balogun accepted blame for the opening goal.
Left-back Bong has made one appearance so far and central defender Balogun two. They meet on Saturday night (5pm).
Albion's other representative, Percy Tau, faces Mo Salah and hosts Egypt on Saturday night as well with South Africa (8pm).
If Tau helps South Africa cause an upset, they would face Cameroon or Nigeria in the quarter-finals next Wednesday.
