Neal Maupay
Albion are in talks aimed at taking Brentford striker Neal Maupay to the Amex.
Maupay was left out of the Bees’ opening Championship fixture at home to Birmingham City yesterday.
The Argus has been told “talks are ongoing” although it is understood no agreement is yet in place.
A report in French sports daily L’Equipe says Maupay will sign a four-year deal barring an unexpected turnaround in events.
