After Albion's deadline day loan move for Aaron Mooy, there is only is one football fan with a smile on his face in Huddersfield.

That is Gareth Brann, an Albion fan who is from Huddersfield.

Mooy made his loan move to the Seagulls after agreeing a new three-year-contract with The Terriers.

But just how have Huddersfield Town fans reacted to the news that one of their key players has gone on loan?

Brann said:“Speaking to friends here they are very disappointed especially considering he played in the first game of the season.

“They know he wanted to play in the Premier League but they were surprised with the loan deal, as they thought they were either going to keep him or sell him instead of offering him a new contract and loaning him.

“I know they have loaned in a midfielder, but they feel with the loan for Mooy they have lost their best player and been given a bad deal.”

As a Brighton fan what are Brann’s thoughts on Mooy’s loan switch to the South Coast.

He said: “I think he will be a good signing. He has been a key part of Huddersfield’s squad over the past few seasons.

“I think he will be pushing for the starting eleven. Even if he doesn’t get into the starting eleven he may well come in at some point at the expense of someone like Dale Stephens. He is too good to go on the bench.”
