Eastbourne Borough manager Lee Bradbury is hoping his side can improve the attacking aspect of their game now that they have solidified things at the back.
Borough have kept three cleans sheets in their opening four games of the season but have only managed to score three goals in those games.
Bradbury, pictured, said he is pleased with the defence but now wants to work on the attacking side of the game after the 0-0 draw away at Maidstone on Tuesday.
He said: “I was pleased with the performance we looked dangerous and we were hard to break down in defence.
“Something I wanted to do when I came into the club was to make us more solid at the back so we didn’t concede as many goals.
“We now look solid defensively but it is now a case of working on the attacking side of things.”
Next up for Borough tomorrow is a tough trip to Braintree Town, who got their first win of the campaign on Tuesday away at St Albans City 3-0.
Bradbury spoke about how tough it will be considering the impressive performance Braintree put in on Tuesday.
He said: “I have watched the game back and they seem like a team that are full of pace and to go to St Albans City and win by that margin is impressive.
“They are another side who have come down from the National League and will be in the mix this season.”
