Wimbledon boss Wally Downes has given Albion youngster Max Sanders qualified praise after a testing debut.
Sanders made his senior bow as a half-time substitute away to MK Dons in League One.
Wimbledon were 2-0 down when midfielder Sanders went on as part of a double change.
They eventually lost 2-1 after an improved second-half performance.
Downes, pictured, said: “Max did well. Unfortunately for him he got a whack on the knee which hindered him slightly.”
Sanders has trained with the senior Albion squad and is on loan to Wimbledon for the rest of the season.
