Graham Potter has admitted to “concern” over another senior injury.
But he expects to know more about Shane Duffy’s state of fitness in the next day or two.
Potter packed his side with youngsters for the Carabao Cup tie against Aston Villa.
But it was skipper and senior pro Duffy who limped out of ther 3-1 defeat with his right sock rolled down.
Head coach Graham Potter said: “It sounds like he has had either a kick or something in his calf.
“Obviously it is a concern for us. We will see how it settles down in the next 24 or 48 hours.”
