Albion have pulled Davy Propper out of international duty.

The Holland midfielder will remain with his club working towards their return to Premier League action at Aston Villa on October 19.

He joins Steven Alzate and Alireza Jahanbakhsh, who will NOT be going away with Colombia under-23s or Iran respectively.

Propper missed his second successive match with a hamstring problem as the Seagulls beat Spurs 3-0.

Head coach Graham Potter said: “There was a contact in training, sort of a duelling action.

“We think there is a bit of tissue damage but we just need to get it to settle down.

“I don’t want to risk anything with him. He has had a lot of football over the past months with internationals, etc.

“He will be here and we will hopefully work towards getting him ready for Villa.”

Alzate has a “minor injury” and will not be heading to Lima for friendlies against Peru under-23s while Jahanbakhsh has not played since suffering a problem last time he was with Iran.

Left-back Gaetan Bong has been called into the Cameroon squad for their friendly in Tunisia on Saturday.
