RONNIE DAVIES has confirmed Chris Eubank Jr will prepare for his New York showdown with Matvey Korobov in the United States.
Davies, Eubank Jr’s long-term trainer and adviser, and the rest of the team will join up with the Brighton fighter in the final weeks of preparation for the middleweight clash which will have a WBA interim title at stake.
Coach Nate Vasquez is again set to work with Eubank Jr Stateside after the pair teamed up successfully for the win over James DeGale in February.
Davies said: “I’ve been working with Eubank down the gym in Brighton since the DeGale fight in February. He will stay out there now, especially as it is easier to get quality sparring partners.”
The fight takes place in Brooklyn on December 7.
