Albion U21's manager Simon Rusk was delighted with his sides performance despite losing on penalties to Leyton Orient.

Danny Cashman had given Albion the lead in the first half before Louis Dennis equalised in the second half and then Orient won 4-2 on penalties.

Despite that Rusk was pleased with the performance.

He said: "I am absolutley delighted.

"I thought for such a young team we were outstanding in the first half, we moved the ball well and looked dangerous on the break.

"We scored a very good goal and we have another perfectly good goal disallowed, which was on-side.

"Then the second half there was a little bit of tiredness, a bit of experience showed and I knew it was going to be a little bit tougher.

"To win two in the group and remain undefeated, okay we lose a penalty shootout, but I dont view that as defeat. It is a really good achievement for the group."
