Davy Propper has seen an unwanted blemish removed from his record.
Albion’s midfielder has been told he did NOT score an own goal at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman seemed to get the final touch as Scott McTominay moved in on a loose ball on the goal-line.
Instead McTominay has been credited with the goal, which was United’s second in a 3-1 win.
The decision was announced today by the Premier League's Goal Accreditation Appeals Panel
The goal was only awarded after a lengthy VAR check for a possible handball by Harry Maguire as he challenged for a high ball.
Propper has made no secret of his desire to add to his one league goal at the right end for Albion.
But he will be pleased to see this one removed from the minus column.
