Steven Alzate has been handed his first start by Colombia.
The Albion player was part of a three-man midfield to face Ecuador in a friendly in New Jersey.
He earnt his first cap as a sub during the 1-0 defeat of Peru in Miami on Saturday.
Colombian coach Carlos Queiroz made changes last night as he got a good look at his squad ahead of the arduous South American qualifying campaign for the next World Cup.
Alzate played the full 90 minutes as Colombia won 1-0.
