Graham Potter has revealed a key change which helped his side beat Arsenal.

Albion scored late after tactical switches which saw Martin Montoya go on at right-back and Leandro Trossard join the attacking ranks.

Trossard was involved almost immediately in the move which brought Neal Maupay’s winner and might have added a very late goal of his own.

Montoya’s introduction at right-back in place of striker Aaron Connolly was also significant.

It saw Steven Alzate move forward from his initial defensive berth.

Potter said: “In the first half we did really well.

“All that good work can go out the window if you concede early, which we did.

“We had to defend in the wide area a little bit better so we changed things around.

“Once we did that we grew back into the game again.

“Credit to the players - they managed the situations quite well and the winning goal was a bit of quality from us as well so I’m delighted.”
