Graham Potter believes Albion‘s 2-1 success at Arsenal was better than his famous win with Östersunds.
The Seagulls matched the result and scoreline Potter enjoyed at the same venue in the Europa League two seasons ago.
His Swedish side bowed out 4-2 on aggregate that night.
Potter said the Arsenal team Albion beat was better than that Östersunds faced.
He added: “It’s a Premier League game. With the greatest respect to that last game, Arsenal were 3-0 up and it was a bit of a formality for them to go through.
“We ended up winning the game but we still went out.
“Tonight is a Premier League victory and really important.
“Every three points in the Premier League for Brighton is massive.
“We are very proud and very happy with that.
“At the same time, I’m grateful for the experience I had here with Östersunds.”
