Chris Eubank Jr was left frustrated as he won on his US debut after opponent Matt Korobov pulled out with an injury.
The Brighton fighter claimed the WBA's interim middleweight title after recording a technical knockout in the second round.
Never thought I’d have a post fight picture like this but it is what it is... I worked my arse off to prepare for this fight, some people may say my win is not deserved but trust me I’ve sacrificed a lot to get to this point in my career so it is. 2020 here we come #NEXTGEN pic.twitter.com/5kY3vM4vbp

Russian Korobov had the better of the first round against Eubank Jr but the southpaw then pulled up with an injured left shoulder and was unable to continue.
Eubank Jr had vowed to make a statement in New York after a long lay-off since beating James DeGale but the fight was over almost before it began to leave him frustrated.
