Graham Potter says Albion claimed “a good point” as they drew 2-2 with Wolves.

But he was disappointed to see a short-lived 2-1 lead – from 1-0 down – slip away.

The Albion head coach told The Argus: “It’s a good point. A hard-earned, hard-fought point against a good team.

“We started off okay and then they grew into it, you can see the quality they have.

“They defend really well when they are in their shape and they have got experience in there.

“Then they have got really frightening pace on the break so all the time you are on the edge when you have the ball.

“You know if you make a mistake they can punish you.

“We were lucky to survive a moment at 1-0, could have gone down to 2-0.

“You need the goalkeeper and he was there for us.

“It was difficult for us because the crowd were getting frustrated.

“We weren’t really able to play through or round therm.

“You can see it is the third game in a week for us.

“Our wasn’t quite what it was, our energy levels weren’t there but we have played Liverpool away, Arsenal away and we meet a very good team today.

“When you add all that up, I can understand why weren’t quite at the level.

“But credit to the players, they kept going.”

“You have to find a way sometimes in football.

“I didn’t think that way would be Neal Maupay banging in a goal like on his left foot.

“But it changes the complexion a little but and then the second goal quickly after changes it around.

“We are disappointed with the equaliser but I think it would be unfair of me to say we deserved to go in ahead.

“We pushed and pushed in the second half, couldn’t find the answer but it’s a fairish result.”
