How Albion players rated v Wolves

MATY RYAN 7

Made a sharp save early on from a Saiss header and kept his side in the game at 1-0 by narrowing the angle for oncoming Jota.

STEVEN ALZATE 7

Stray header allowed Neves a chance to go very close at 0-0 but otherwise looked at home again at right-back.

ADAM WEBSTER 6

Caused problems by the movement of Jota and Jimenez in the first half but they were less of a threat in the second.

LEWIS DUNK 7

Close to an early opener with a header from a corner. Jimenez gave him some problems. Put his body on the line in second-half scramble.

DAN BURN 6

Was unwell before kick-off so credit to him for the way he played Traore until the later stages in what looked a difficult match-up.

DALE STEPHENS 7

Vision and precision on the through ball which went a long way to changing the game. Went close with a shot in the second half.

The Argus:

DAVY PROPPER 7

A lot of stuff worthy of a high mark, notably his header which put pace and direction on to a floated cross. One blind pass cost dear.

PASCAL GROSS 6

Some nice moments and thoughtful use of the ball at times but the feeling remains he can offer more than this.

AARON MOOY 8

Is in a rich vein of form. Clever pass helped create the second goal and was inches from what might have been a killer third.

LEANDRO TROSSARD 7

Brought back into the XI and, while in and out of the game, made something happen – an assist for Propper’s goal on this occasion.

NEAL MAUPAY 8

After taking an extra touch once or twice at Arsenal, he stood on no ceremony whatsoever with his instant strike which stunned the Amex.

SUBS

Alireza Jahanbakhsh: Handed first Prem minutes under Potter. Hit and miss but no lack of endeavour.

Glenn Murray: Got involved in some link-up play but no scoring chance.
