It appears he has looked to employ the tactical set-up which worked so well here for Chelsea on Sunday.
Ezequiel Schelotto, making his first start of the season, and Bernardo look set to take wing-back roles.
Shane Duffy, Aaron Connolly and Steven Alzate also come into the XI.
Martin Montoya, Leandro Trossard, Neal Maupay and Davy Propper drop to the bench while Lewis Dunk is not involved due to illness.
Albion have a Premier League fixture at home to Bournemouth on Saturday (12.30pm).
With Son Heung-min suspended, Ryan Sessegnon makes his first Premier League start for Tottenham.
