MATY RYAN 7

Not as busy as might have been expected but was unlucky after a super save from Kane and kept his side in it with a stunner from Alli very late.

EZEQUIEL SCHELOTTO 8

After late cameos, enjoyed his first Prem start since May 2018 and was an energetic presence down the right, not least when playing a part in the Albion goal.

ADAM WEBSTER 7

Back in business after a tough weekend. Celebrated his fantastic header in some style as he opened the scoring and looked sure-footed on the ball.

SHANE DUFFY 7

Reprieved by a tight VAR call but otherwise did some good defending on his return to the XI.

DAN BURN 7

Did pretty well after an early booking, starting as left-sided centre-back and then moving to left-back. Kept cool a couple of times when Spurs tried to get him a second card.

BERNARDO 7

Returned to the side at wing-back and stated a case for further involvement, especially in the first half and with a later cross to set up a Connolly chance.

DALE STEPHENS 6

A decent enough game for the stand-in skipper without being dominant. Could he have done more to prevent the equaliser?

STEVEN ALZATE 7

Looked very at ease on the ball in tight areas as he played the ‘Propper’ midfield role and tested Gazzaniga with his right foot after a weak effort with the left.

AARON MOOY 8

So much good, clever and inventive work on the ball, especially in the first half, and was unfortunate to see a deflected effort spin inches wide.

PASCAL GROSS 6

Pinpoint delivery for the opener and later tested Gazzaniga but general play was mixed and there was some weak defensive work as Tottenham equalised.

AARON CONNOLLY 6

Lots of great running and a couple of good touches with defenders on his back but he probably should have done better with a headed chance at 1-0.

SUBS

Neal Maupay: Almost got on the end of a cutback.

Leandro Trossard: Got on the ball to no avail.

Yves Bissouma: Tried to add some forward momentum.
