Alireza Jahanbakhsh says he has not spoken to head coach Graham Potter about his future.

The Iran star made his first start under Potter and scored his first Premier League goal in the 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

He has been linked with a possible loan out but says he is happy here.

Jahanbakhsh said: “To be honest, we haven’t even talked about it because, as I have said, I have been very happy.”

Asked if he hoped he would still be playing with Albion at the end of the season, Jahanbakhsh added: “I feel good why not? I am here, I am playing now and I haven’t talked about it with anyone, but we will see what the future holds.”

“I have settled into the team and the city. The first season in the Premier League is always difficult, it is a different environment, different teams a lot of quality in the league.

“Now I am settling down and I love this city and I have a very good relationships with the boys here and I have a different role to last year.

“However, we haven’t talked about it and I am looking forward to what the future brings for me at Brighton.”
