Alireza Jahanbakhsh says his overhead kick in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea was the best goal he has scored in his career.
The 26-year-old Iranian came on in the 68th minute and scored a superb effort with six minutes left to earn Albion a point.
Jahanbakhsh said the goal was by far the best goal he has scored.
He said: "I think so by far it was the best especially in such an important game, against such an important and scoring such a goal it couldn't be any better."
What a difference a week makes.
This time last week Jahanbakhsh had not scored in the Premier League, but he will end the week with two league goals in two games and he expressed how happy he was to finally get the chance to play.
He said:"It has been a great week for me obviously I have been waiting for my chance for a long time and I just wanted to grab my chance when I got it.
"I'm delighted to get my chance to be an important player for the team, to score a goal and that is something people expected much earlier from me.
"But it didn't happen 2019 wasn't the best year in my career, but hopefully I can make it a better year this time round."
