The striker was today linked with Celtic, who need back-up and options up front.
However, The Argus understands that, as of late this afternoon, the Seagulls had received no contact from Celtic – or anyone else.
Murray missed yesterday’s FA Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday after picking up a knock in training.
