How Albion players rated at Everton...

MATY RYAN 7

A super save to keep Albion on level terms and made a couple more in quick succession from Calvert-Lewin in the second half.

ADAM WEBSTER 6

Was caused a few problems in wider areas in a game which saw him start on right of a three and then move to right-back.

SHANE DUFFY 7

High crosses were easy but Richarlison was too quick for him on the goal. Some welcome poise on the ball led to Trossard’s near miss.

LEWIS DUNK 6

Got in a couple of great blocks but was troubled early playing left of centre, notably when he might have conceded a penalty.

MARTIN MONTOYA 5

Did not make the most of his licence to attack in a wing-back role and was taken off as part of the reshuffle.

DALE STEPHENS 6

Seems to be going through a below-par patch with his passing although he won’t stop wanting the ball in the centre of the pitch.

DAVY PROPPER 6

Got further forward for a while in the second half. He produced occasional good moments on the ball.

BERNARDO 6

Had his hands full against Sidibe in the original match-ups but offers some athleticism and forward thinking down that side and had a short stint in midfield.

LEANDRO TROSSARD 6

Generally struggled to make an impact but created one moment of magic which might have changed game and also crossed for Murray. Good - but not enough.

ALIREZA JAHANBAKHSH 5

Volleyed over in the first half but second half of the season will be as much about consistency of performance as wonder goals.

NEAL MAUPAY 6

Generally quiet although his willingness to run at the Everton defence led to a decent Murray chance.

SUBS

STEVEN ALZATE 7

Made a difference as he helped stitch together some of Albion’s best attacking moves.

PASCAL GROSS 6

Got into some good positions right of centre without end product.

GLENN MURRAY 6

Was a threat and maybe should have scored.
