Red Bull Salzburg's football chief has warned a potential Albion target is going nowhere.

The Seagulls are among a host of clubs interested in South Korean frontrunner Hee-Chan Hwang, who was reported last month to be on the verge of a move to Wolves.

Salzburg’s sports director Christoph Freund said: "Top clubs have been reported with Hee-Chan. But he is a decisive factor in the Spring for us. He will stay.”

A source in Austria believes Freund's words are unlikely to deter suitors.

Red Bull are keen to extend Hwang’s contract, which expires in 2021.

Everton, Leicester and Lyon are also among clubs who are interested in the 23-year-old.
