Shane Duffy celebrates his goal at West Ham last season
Shane Duffy is expected to miss Albion’s trip to West Ham.
The Republic of Ireland defender has had a minor operation.
A well-placed source said he would be missing for “not too long”.
Duffy scored at the London Stadium last season when the Seagulls drew 2-2.
Albion are also currently missing fellow defender Dan Burn as he recovers from a broken collarbone.
Duffy is reported to have had a blood clot removed.
