Michael Oliver is set to take charge of only his second Albion match of the season.
Oliver, widely regarded as a leading Premier League ref, will be in the middle when the Seagulls visit West Ham on Saturday.
He has not reffed Albion since they drew 1-1 at home to Burnley early in the season.
Oliver’s last West Ham match saw him allow a stoppage-time equaliser for Robert Snodgrass at Sheffield United before video ref Chris Kavanagh penalised Declan Rice for handball in the build-up.
Andre Marriner has been handed VAR duties for the six-pointer at the London Stadium.
