Albion’s Under-23s won 2-1 at Tottenham tonight in Premier League 2 division one.

Simon Rusk’s side went ahead through Peter Gwargis in only the seventh minute at Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium. The Swede tapped home for his fifth of the season in PL2 after a ball across the box from Ryan Longman.

Albion's Jack Spong had a shot saved by Josh Oluwayemi shortly after but Spurs levelled in the 17th minute.

Malachi Fagan-Walcott met skipper Harvey White’s corner with a thumping header.

Albion retook the lead two minutes after the break when Warren O’Hora headed in a Teddy Jenks corner at the near post.

Spurs’ Jubril Okedina fired over the crossbar when a partially cleared corner came to him outside the box as the hosts pushed for a leveller but the Seagulls saw out the win.
