Graham Potter praised the character of his Albion players after another comeback.
But he admitted he was disappointed with a point as they drew 1-1 with Watford.
An own goal from Adrian Mariappa gave the Seagulls their point after they trailed to Abdoulaye Doucoure’s opener.
Albion dominated possession but struggled to create chances.
Potter said: “We had a big chance with Aaron Mooy before we scored.
“Then I think in the end we deserved a goal.
“While we are disappointed with one point, we take it and we move forward.”
Asked about the character shown by his players, Potter said: “It is really important and I am really proud of them.
“When you go behind, especially at home and with the importance of the game, things get edgy and nervy and that is understandable.
“That makes it even more challenging for us because we are the ones who have to find the answers.
“I’m delighted with the characte of the players and with the spirit that they showed.
“Even though we are disappointed with two points in the last two games, there is a lot to be really happy with.”
