How Albion players rated againast Watford...

MATY RYAN 6

No chance on the goal and then very little to do on his 100th appearance. Played perhaps the pass of the match in the second half to release Trossard.

EZEQUIEL SCHELOTTO 6

Perhaps a surprise choice as right-back rather than wing-back. Was a willing outlet down that side in his own style.

SHANE DUFFY 6

Looked like he wanted Doucoure to go outside him on the attack that brought Watford’s goal but was unable to force him that way. A very steady second half.

LEWIS DUNK 7

Helped offer Ryan great protection and was keen to vary the attacking game with long diagonal passes on occasion.

DAN BURN 6

A decent return ahead of schedule following his broken collarbone. Got forward to deliver a couple of crosses but conventional left-back is not his best role.

DAVY PROPPER 6

Got on the ball a lot looking to pick a way through the well-organised Watford ranks.

AARON MOOY 6

Two more negative moments stand out in the memory - the Watford goal and his chance to equalise. He also did some good stuff but is best used further forward.

SOLLY MARCH 7

Looked one of the more likely to make things happen, first on the right and then at left-back to facilitate a formation change.

PASCAL GROSS 5

An ineffective afternoon for the man who has often been a difference-maker with his creative touches.

LEANDRO TROSSARD 6

Flitted in and out but was involved in the Mooy chance and the equaliser.

GLENN MURRAY 6

Offered presence in attack, which served as a target for colleagues to move off and spooked Mariappa.

SUBS

NEAL MAUPAY 6

Mixed quality on the ball but he was busy and played a part in the goal and Mooy’s chance.

STEVEN ALZATE 7

His confidence and poise on the ball in tight areas meant others received possession under less pressure.

ALIREZA JAHANBAKHSH

Found a corridor of uncertainty with his low cross to force the leveller.
