Alexis Mac Allister is on his way to Europe.
The Albion attacking midfielder spoke to Argentinian television before beginning his journey from South America.
Mac Allister was followed by camera crews as he prepared to board his flight at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires.
He has been a big hit in half a season on loan at Boca Juniors.
Mac Allister told reporters: “It was a big challenge for me when I arrived at Boca and I wanted to show I could play at Boca.
“Now I want to show I can play in the English league.

“It is a big challenge for me and I hope all goes well.
“I didn’t surprise myself at Boca but I’m sure I surprised other people.
“I knew what I could give and I knew I’d be at that level. That’s why I went to Boca.”
Mac Allister will join the Albion squad as they prepare to visit Sheffield United a week on Saturday and has said his farewells at the Bombonera.
He said: “I’ve spoken to my team mates and I have thanked them for the respect and companionship that was always there within the group and I said my goodbyes. I went out in the best way.”
