Graham Potter says Neal Maupay’s latest goal was reward for hard work and “sacrifice”.
Maupay took his tally to eight for the season with the equaliser at Sheffield United.
It was his first goal since netting at Crystal Palace in mid-December.
Albion boss Potter said: “It was a reward for his overall performance and sacrifice for the team.
“Often what happens is we think the centre forward should score and we put pressure on them.
“Actually, the reality is his job is to do his best for the team, to work hard, to sacrifice, to run, all those things. Then, in the end, his quality will show.
“Neal Maupay has got quality and will score goals. That is why I am delighted for him.
“He gets his personal reward for a selfless performance.”
