Lewes manager Hugo Langton is not worried about his sides form ahead of their game against fellow strugglers Wingate & Finchley tomorrow.

The Rooks have lost their last three games, which have all come at the Dripping Pan to Worthing, Brightlingsea and Bognor.

Despite the form Langton is not at all worried He said: “No I am not on Saturday that performance wasn’t one I expect from my team and brought a couple of things to my attention.

“Last night we were unlucky we played excellently, but just couldn’t quite convert our chances, so if we can repeat that performance on Saturday, we will be fine.

“The defeat last weekend did bring another couple of issues to my attention, but hopefully that it is all of them.”

Lewes’ form is the second worst in the division having lost four and drawn one of their last five games, with only Bishop’s Stortford on a worse run of form.

However, the Rooks opponents Wingate are in much better form. They are unbeaten in their last five games winning three and drawing two, which includes beating second place Folkestone away from home last weekend.

Despite their form Wingate are still in trouble, as they are just above the relegation zone on goal difference and Langton isn’t expecting the prettiest game of football.

He said: “Wingate are in a similar situation to us, they are fighting and scrapping for every point.

“I’m not sure it will be the game will be the prettiest given both sides need the points.

“If we can build on our performance against Bognor, we have a good chance of getting a result against them.
