SOLLY MARCH admits he should have buried his chance in the 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at the Amex.
March missed a glorious opening in the 35th minute when he fired into the side netting at the far post following a superb cross from Leandro Trossard with the outside of his boot after neat link-up play with striker Neal Maupay.
Wideman March admitted: “I need to take that one and we had a few others as well.
“It came a bit off the heel I think, but had I been a bit more composed I would have hit the back of the net.”
He added: “I think Neal blocked one on the line from Dunky’s header, so it was just not our day.”
Albion are yet to secure a win in 2020 from their opening eight games of the calender year, but March says the players are working on changing that statistic.
He said: “We are training hard and we are playing well at times.
“We just need a bit of luck and a bit of composure from someone on our team and we will score goals, which means we will win more games.”
